Review all documents for correct spelling of names and correct dates.
Bring any required stipulations for signing (ex: W-2 forms, pay stubs), if applicable.
Complete all forms except signatures and notarized areas.
Be sure to bring valid identification for the signing, which must be witnessed by the notary.
For someone without current ID, need two credible witnesses with proper ID.
